Anyone know size for short PS belt for removed aircon

Post by Rob Furniss »

The one on my son Rowans car has just shat itself, he removed the aircon a while back so was running a shorter belt but I can't remember the size or find it on here.
Anyone happen to know the size or 6PK number?

And yes the easy thing would be to look at the old belt that shat itself but he just kept driving as he didn't want it to cut out so we don't have it.

Cheers,
Rob

Best way is remove compressor and run same OE belt around other way of tensioner
Actualy he is right.
Viamoto.co.uk sells as AC remove belt 6PK938. I got that belt in ma 1995 GR.

But I am having trouble with belt falling under load. I need to find out some belt tensioner, that will fit.

I pull the tensioner off & elongated the adjustment hole upwards by about 5mm. Then I was able to get good tension on the belt.
