Hey guys me once again,


I've got a parts car with working aircon and I'd got mine checked and the compressor is the problem in my car.

I was wondering if i could diy and swap them over but is there anything I should be weary of (gas, clutch) etc since im
not too familiar with the ac system. Also i know my motors have lost teeth as they tick like hell trying to switch over.

Also I'm looking at getting a facelift bar in the future (that can be painted as mine is mismatched) and just double checking that
If so I'd need to:

1. MG turn signals?
2. Halo fog and parkers from VW? (both if im not wanting to drill into the headlights).

- would 2. allow the halo ring to be parker and fog lights to be well as said?
- is there much soldering and wire work needed?

Same compressors, just degas and regas the system

Also all the wiring is in the plugs on the left and right side of the bar, all you need is to put a voltmeter on and figure out what is what.

There's the following on each prefacelift bar plug

Indicator positive and negative
Foglight positive and negative
Parker positive and negative

Also yes they are the MG Rover turn signals but you need to make a custom bracket.

Also a halo as parker is definitely able to be used, not sure of the legality of it.

I didn't have any parkers at all for 3 years. Only now since sourcing a set of facelift headlights have I got them.

I may be able to get the MG signals from a fellow member on here. I'm happy to make a bracket out of something for them.

Is there a link I could use to get the correct parker/fog halos? theres a few different VW ones and just not sure. Was it 3 inch around?

I'll just run them as parkers for now or just disconnect them worst case scenario until I find a set of facelift ones.
