Hey ben what did you make urs out of mate. I told them to try and make some kinda shield up.
That makes it worse, they couldnt see that in the workshop before they let it out?

ok the brake line got moved well out of the way so all fixed now.

Ok I finally got the bill and I don't think it was to bad. Final bill came to 4100. This included
1100 for wiring loom
670 for exhaust
330 for new powersteering line
18 hours of work.
Then all the other junk and stuff.
The car goes on the dyno on tuesday. I can't seem to gt my boost controller working don't know why it won't work.

@nvr2low - I feel for you man .. sounds like you'll have to sell a kidney or two to pay the bill when it comes time..

I wouldn't suggest to someone to try this without mechanical experience, or without being wiling to take their time over a few years, learning everything as they go.. 'tis the only way to make sure the budget doesn't get blown out of proportion..

What? 139 what? kw's? on 10 pound? I thought you would be at least round the 170 mark at a minimum

oi get out of it haha my damn boost controller has to many damn settings. i spent an hour before hand trying to set it up right hah.

they reckon if it wasnt running so rich it would make 170 180 on 10 psi.

i need a haltech interceptor

or anybody got any ideas why i am not making more power. the lamado sensor they put in read 10.5 on full throttle which is really rich.

i got a 2.5 inch exhaust, standard dump pipes and a 2.5 y pipe.

i was on premium fuel to.
it had a perfect controlled line all the way to 10 psi then leveled off and after 5k it dropped off to around 8psi

well a 2.5" exhaust is too restrictive for a turbo'd car

you should look at getting 3" straight through

yeah when I gt some more money I will go 3 inch but it hard 2 keeps twin 3 inch exhaust. I kept boosting it up higher jonowong. It was the same from 6 all the way to 10 psi mate still running really rich mate.
I defently need a haltech interceptor.
