ok i found a little problem with the new motor, ben i dont know if you have got this problem to.

when i drive around and boost it the intake plenium hits the bonnet and is wearing the plenium away.

i put 3 washers under the back screws to try and raise the bonnet a little bit.

anybody else got ideas.

Also who makes bigger radiators for the Fto.

I would say to check your engine mounts....

Maybe go for something stiffer ...

does this info help? -

just to let people no that if you want to upgrade your engine mounts on the cross member the evo 2 & 3 rear engine mount will fit straight on with aboult 1mm difrents

http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... s2280p9110

the front one is bigger and would need modifying abit to fit

http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... s2280p9109

there stiffer then the fto mounts because there full rubber not half

I just did the lower rear one - as its the weakest. If you do them all, you may end up vibrating other bits off the car. Mine was a modified Suzuki Swift GTI mount.

And yeah, we came across the bonnet rubbing issue, but instead of raising the bonnet up with washers, we lowered the whole cross member with washers.

ok I did what aza did ripped off both black bits of rubber.
Now I have smoke coming out the bonnet near the windscreen.
I have looked for leaks but can't find any and it smells like radiator fluid but them temps are fine and I cnt see any leaks their either.

ok had some bad luck today the power steering hard pipe must have let go and hit the exhaust and started a fire in the engine bay. I was lucky I was at the peformance shop and got a extinguisher and put it out. Their wasn't any damage thank god. they are going to work on it to fix all the pupes and leaks so their is no more problems.

ok ben beware mate make sure u move the brake lines along way away from the turbo. I have broken the brake line bad and that is what leaked all over the turbo and exhaust causing the smoke and fire mate.
