Sam's Turbo Setup progress **FINISHED INSTALL** pics

Post by FtoSam »

Okay i know i may sound like Oliver by being so exciteted bout my turbo coming, but i dont care... lol...
Anyway i just thought i'dd vent all my excitement into this thread... and yes i know theres been many turbo fto's before, etc etc... but i've never owned a turbo car... and i love my fto's Performance stock... so turbo should be unreal...
Basically this is what im getting:
TURBO KIT
Garrett GT28 Turbo
External/Internal Wastegate
All necesary piping
Turbo Blanket
Intercooler (bit too big but meh)
all the oil/coolant lines
TurboSmart Plumback BOV
390cc Injectors
Oil Catch Can?
$2245 inc Freight

Original Clutch modified $800
Greddy E-manage (inc Harnesess) $580 (Microtec LT10 $1200)
2-1 Exhaust adapter $250 ($275)
Turbo Install $800 ($2265!!!)
ECU Install $150 ($350)
Dyno Tune $600 ($650)
Manual Boost Controller $79 (Electronic Boost Controller $400)
Boost Guage $80 (Sabre Boost Guage $200)
(TurboSmart RR FPR $250)
(Braided Fuel Lines $350)
(Full 3" Exhaust System $1050)
Total: $7790

Things to do later:
Smaller Intercooler??
Decompression Gasket
Water injection?
Oil Pressure Guage ($99)

LEt me know what you think but dont be brutal... i dont know really where to start with performance... my specialty is audio not engine stuff...
Opinions would be great or let me know what you would do if u were me... keep in mind i've got a $6000 budget (Spent like $8000 so far)... so im leaving a bit over $400 for buffer... before digging into a paycheck

What are the dimensions of the intercooler you're getting and how much boost you plan on running? BTW you got a tip or manual?
