I use Castrol Syntrans. Fully synthetic and jave had no issues at all.

I've used the wrong oil before and it destroys the box very quickly.

Wrong! GPvR has a Helical LSD so you can use the regular oil with it.

Castrol Syntrans is a fully synthetic 75w85 GL4 oil.

Syntrans doesn't exist anymore, they renamed it according to the bloke at Repco :troll:

I just got the 75w85 VMX-M Castrol stuff as there was nothing else suitable at Supershit or Repco.

It does exist, bought some last week fron AutoBarn. All they changed was the packaging. Used to be a silver bottle, is now Gold.

Only people with viscous LSD's need different oil
But even so I think the viscous LSD is a sealed diff with its own oil
