Having suspension/steering problems in Wellington

Post by FTEvolution »

Hi guys,

Been a quiet couple of months since I thought it was my gearbox playing up, never had it properly looked over but now is the time.

Anyone know a decent suspension specialist in Wellington? I always used Chamberlains in CHCH (the best IMO), anyone that can shake a stick at them here?

My only advise is to download a copy of the workshop manuals & open it up to the section on gearboxes ..

I've read through these once before & just studying up on them again ... they have craploads of diagnostic / troubleshooting steps on the different issues with the gearboxes from what I remember. just check for symptoms & refer to steps to troubleshoot the issues. ;)

What drama's were you having with the gearbox in particular?
You just sent me a PM saying the tip boxes do alright

You might just be best to put it in for a major service & get it reco'd .. might be pricey though .. unless you wanted to swap to a manual box still..
