Alrighty, this how-to needs to be redone. Do I have any volunteers? :D

Needs to be redone using the file attachments feature this board offers.

Current setting for the board attachment feature are as follows:
Admin Control Panel wrote: Maximum file size: 3MB
Maximum file size private messaging: 3MB
Maximum number of attachments per post: 10
Maximum number of attachments per private message: 10
Maximum thumbnail width in pixel: 800
Maximum image dimensions: 1280 x 1024
We also need to add something about resizing pictures, and by resizing I mean reducing the filesize of a pic. I personally use the http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/ plugin. Once installed, its simply right click & select resize from the right click menu. Even if you resize to the same pixel size, it will almost half the file size.

The photos my phone takes are too big (glad and pissed at the same time ha!)
I find the easiest way is to just right click it, choose edit and simply resize it through microsoft paint. Just take the largest number and resize it to either 8 or 600 (depending if potrait/landscape) and it automatically resizes the other value to make it even. Cant get much simpler than that - if its less than 800/600 then it isnt gonna be 3mb.

right click > edit > CTRL + W > Right arrow > tab > 1024 > enter > CTRL + S > ALT + F4

That's my standard procedure :p
