Not sure if it was you Ben, but if you saw an asian kid walking pass your house and checking out your red FTO (approx arround 4:40) that was me. Hahahaha. Didn't say hello because I didn't know if it was you or just someone else who lives there. Lol.

I really like the front bumper on your red one :L Was also trying to figure out if big black rims would good on my FTO, hence why I was staring for so long. Hahaha.

Not being a creep at all aye.....naah, was just walking home.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure. Hahaha. Atleast I know what you look like now so I can say hello next time. Leave drunk? Ohh nooooo. Never drank before. Lol.

I'm thinking about getting aftermarket rims (Your ones are nice. Red Fto's rims are better than you other one imo. Which brand are they?) but I don't know which type or colour.

I'm just scared that I might gutter my current rims and I've got stock ones. I'd rather damage aftermarket rims than stock ones.

I was thinking of buying some stock rims I found on gumtree. $430. Then have them dipped in white or black paint. Not too sure though.

Also, anyone have or know where I can get spare centre caps? Mine are worn out.

I'd be more worried about curbing after market rims! (at least expensive ones)

Coming from the perspective of a game collector ....well ex game collector because I sold $4000 worth of games for my FTO.......

Stock rims are in limited supply. No matter if people don't like them. Their supply is limited and therefore they need to be preserved and looked after. Aftermarket rims....theyre everywhere. If they get damaged, replacing them is easy.

I have a set of stock rims for the car...coz you never know when you need them, and a set on my Pajero, coz they are awesome and the perfect size to put muddies on. :)

Starcorp Fusion 18 x 8s. Used to be able to get them at Tempe Tyres, but they don't sell them anymore unfortunately.

Way too expensive. You should be able to pickup a set for $100-150. For a set of tyres with decent tread on, add $100-$150. Ive even got a set with 80%-90% tread with rims in excellent condition im lookin at swapping for a set of 17 " rims I have inth shed. Just need to buy tyres for them.

Oh and if you are a collector, some of the brochures and things may appeal:

Well anyone know where I can get stock rims?

I might consider these if I can't get stock rims dipped in paint.

Nahh, that place is ages away from me. Lol. Thanks though mate.

      ON ANOTHER NOTE

When I'm on the train I ALWAYS see this one FTO parked on the side of the road. On saturday morning, I went to gym, but I missed my train on the way back. Decided to catch a bus back home instead. Didn't realise this, but my bus route took me RIGHT infront of the house with the FTO. It was pretty dirty, tires looked a tad flat and there were some cobwebs on it. I don't think it is being driven at all. Going to go there after school tomorrow and see if I can negotiate with the owner of the car and get it for cheap.

CONVENIENTLY it is the exact same colour and model as my FTO. Hoping for the best with this one. I want it badly. Lol

Also, what are slam panels exactly. Read they can add 15kw. I want moooarrr speed!

Lol, not sure if srs. Slam panels are just bits that go where the door closes, where you step into the car. At least iirc.

Slam panels go under the bonnet and above the radiator.
They are just a piece of stainless that cover the large gap.
