Newbie from Melbourne

Post by Jasonp »

Hey guys, my names Jason and I've owned my GPX for about 2 months now. :)

I have a couple of questions:

1. How can I secure the centre console surround? It just sits there and moves about, but I cant lift it up much either to look under it to see if there is something to secure it to.

2. My last photo, are they extractors? Couldn't get a decent shot but hopefully someone can tell me.

Hi Jason,

Firstly, welcometo the club

1. You have an aftermarket surround (Carbon Fibre). There arent clips,so there isnt really a way to secure it. Sell it off and buy a genuine one. I can help with that, or you can get one off EBAY.

2. You have extractors.

    Thanks dstocks!
To be honest I dont mind the look of it at all, if anything I prefer it over the genuine ones, but I may buy one later down the line when I get sick of it, then I'll come to you :D I'm guessing this is the one I need?

Now that's sounds like a pretty sweet idea, should do the whole console like that. Might consider it after I've done the exhaust when I've got more money

haha sounds tempting but I think I'll wait a bit until I fix the interior up, not bothering me too much :)
