nope, as simple as finding a new one and telling your old one to go stick it.

but if u r under 25 and live in sudney.... good luck finding cheap insurance for your FTO (import + young = $$$$$$$ on insurance)

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

I'm with Just Cars and I'm paying $2500, it would have been $2000 but I listed some aftermarket stuff. Check them out if you can, and have a try of Shannons, you never know who they'll insure.

I'm hoping to go with them for my insurance next year.

I'm paying $1060 with Just Cars & I thought THAT was a rip off ... the most i've ever paid was about $1500

Next year I'm just going with Third party fire & theft...

me love u long time

lol

oh and oodLes, i checked shannons the other day, and they wont even want to hear from her (19 = way too young for shannons, i think they need u to be either 25 or have had your license for 5 yrs or something like that as a min)

It seems to be absolutely case specific. Some people under 25 have been able to be insured, and others say that Shannons tells them that they haven't had enough experience with a high powered vehicle or something similar.

Then theres the times you mentioned where they say you need to be on your license for a certain amount of time.

Agreed it is case specific but I found with talks with Shannons they really love people that can prove driving skill (ie. competition licences and have raced with proof). Will be calling them next year after I've turned 25 :D

Yeah, I lost my licence about 3 year ago ... Only thing that I had been fined for in the last 5 or so years leading up to it ... Didn't read that blurb on their website, and called them.. They were quite rude to me when I told them the story ..
