Pretty good insurance price

Post by jakey106 »

Hey guys i thought i might share this with people i am 19 and for comprahensive insurance i was quated 2700 that was through just cars which is pretty step for somone in my situation so i done some looking around and found this mob called young and cool they quated me 1500 if i had 2 years pervies insurance with any mob but i only had 1 yr 1/2 so they lifted it up too 1600 which is still resonable and it does go down after being with them for a year but i was happy with the price. So if any one looking for insurance i recomand them expecialy for the younger drivers.

It depends on where you live as well and wether your car is caraged or not.

Because of the suburb where I'm living and no carage, most of the cheaper insurance companies won't insure me (Shannons & Unique).

Plus Sydney is a rip when it comes to car insurance compare to other cities.

Thanks....i might have to try these guys out. I pay about $1600 with Just Cars, but excess is $2000. So might see what sort of deal they can give me!

hey everyone im test driving an FTO in 3 or 4 days.
Im 18 years old and im completely clean,no accidents, never lost licence, never ben in trouble bla bla bla.

The only thing is im trying to find insurance and ive gotten some pretty damn ridiculous prices.

Prices as i am in Melbourne ARE:
(per year)
RACV - $7000
Just car - $3200

ive asked young and cool and its been around a week and they still havent gotten back to me with my online claim so i guess i might call them on monday.

im not sure where else to ask and i really dont have the money to spend 3000 dollars on car insurance when my car only costs 3 times that amount.
Its quite ridiculous so if anyone knows a GOOD and RELIABLE car insurance for melbourne please let me know.

And also im insuring under my mothers name and me as third party driver so that would be cheaper right?
