Did you have any problems engineering it?

Cant wait to see this thing in action. You gonna bring it to the next cruise?

So yeah, put a propper battery box, and started on the MDF flooring ... This will do me for some time .. Will worry about putting the stereo in at a later date .. Just trying to enjoy the car at the moment, and didn't want to try and drive around in it, with the battery not secured ...

Thanks mate .. Have been driving her all over the place ..

Just put in the new gauge cluster (OEM), installed the alarm with GSM pager (Well the guys at Dsire 4 sound), changed over the stereo facia (old one was smashed like the FTO's), Put on the T4G club stickers, scrubbed out all the air con vents and and ducting in the centre console, connected the louvers and cables to the heater core, and just a bit of a tidy up behind the dash ..
I just had to add it ......

Pahaha that's hilarious....although I'm all too aware of crazy ex girlfriends :?

Car is nice and tasty. FYI, cressida's when they're were released from factory had a change to the head gasket which got rushed. So a bit under 90,000kms these engines will start to die cos of the fk up. A 2jz in one would be crazy though...

The ex is long gone, so should be safe. This car won't be parked out of my sight anyway, so yeah these plates will stay..

The head gasket on the Cressida is sh*t.. But the main problem is the torque setting when boating down.. The manual will tell you it should be 80, but it should be torqued at 90 instead..

A 1j or a 2j is always an option.. Just gotta make sure you get one with a front sump. That was going to be the next project, but since I had to put in a new 7m engine, I had already lost enough cash on it..

Next project will be an r32 gtr with an r34 or above engine...

Have to re-plant the money tree though.. Looks like I will be buying a hilux with a mate of mine, cause we need a ute for picking up car parts and stuff..

So I am not sure if I will do a mini truck project before I start a gtr project... So yeah gotta see how we go... The Lancer took me 3 years, and I am still doing the interior... So I am patient.. Lol...

It looks so comfy!! Do you think you would be able to put FTO climate control in these?
