Blahahahaha ... Cash ftw ... I hate loans ...

I did feel pretty weird driving around with that much cash ... I kept on having visions of someone jacking the car (me and my mate drove down in his Silvia) then strippin it and finding the cash ... Would have made someones day .. lol ...

Just a quick update...

Over the weekend I changed over the steering column, the plastic around the steering wheel, clear cam cover, and the lower dash plastic...

Plus took it for a spin...What a ball tearer... Just needs to get in engineered *winks in Ben's direction*

Nah, she is just sitting with a rough tune at the moment... We tuned it so that it would not foul the plugs from short starts when it was getting sprayed... So no idea what it would put out... When I took it down the road, to get petrol the other day, it was a real ball tearer...

Hehehehehe ... Thanks Aza ... Hmmm.. If only I can get it sorted for the bonfire... Could take that instead of the FTO .... Now that would be fun ....
I just had to add it ......

Ohhh.. The cressida ... That was the next project car...

Was going to put in a 2jz ... Out of an Aristo ... But, the old 7m engine blew when I was using it for a daily driver... So, I bought a new 7m engine, put that in instead, and thought why bother putting in the 2j as a blew a fair amount on fixing the 7m...

Then I had that, the FTO, the bike, the lancer, AE86, and S13 ... So gave the Cressida to a mate ... So it lives down in the Gong at the moment...
I just had to add it ......

Aristos are cool. I drove a TT 2j at work with like huge km on it. Feels as solid as a rock and quick as too.

Craig you had an AE86? Pics now! 8O

Not a rare operation at all.. Have seen a few of these going round ... Not sure on the cost.. My mechanic has done a few 1J and 2J conversions, but not sure if they have done the 1UZ ... If you want, give Ricol at peakhurst a call and have a chat ...
I just had to add it ......

Dropped the car off at the engineer today ... He will have all the paperwork done by Friday ... So, when I get back from NZ on Sat morning, my first stop will be the RTA...
I just had to add it ......

All engineered and ready to go ...

Only bloody problem is RTA will not register it without the original green slip.. As it was previously an unregistered car, they can not rely on just the electronic confirmation .. So now have to wait for the greenslip in the mail ... Grrr....

I could have had it done, but a $380 vs a $600+ greenslip was not worth it ..
I just had to add it ......
