toyota pre-sold 400 of em in Australia from the 1st batch, no one really knows how many will be shipped over in the next batch though. People are speculating a 2 year wait but i doubt it personally.

No way. 75% of the reason I enjoy the 8 so much is because of its luxury comforts. Which the 86 has absolutely none of.

There's an 18 month wait, and the next batch will contain roughly 1600.

So what is there mark up on these? How much play do they have fore the sale on the cars?

Initial production run in NZ of 20 for the TRDs :o
still 40 normal 86s available for sale in NZ too.

It's so disappointing that the sti and the trd models won't be turbo

There are already 2JZ conversions and even the IS-F V8 conversion.
The CR is of the stock motor is 12.5:1 so it seems aftermarket turbocharging may be quite expensive

I'd rather the IS-F V8 newer and 2jz is a typical engine conversion need some variety
