You after the 2.0 RS or the 2.5L RS? The 2.5L is much more responsive then the 2.0L, but for some reason Subaru had down graded it back to 2.0L for the latest model.

Beening a AWD, it will have excellent traction but pretty average fuel econ. Interior is ok for the price, handle well for its class, but don't compare it to the Rexie as it roll a fair bit if you take the corner hard.

Hey there, i work at Auto Nexus i drive imprezas everyday, they are a decent car i guess.. its easily the cheapest car from the Subaru range, like i dunno the liberty is made of a much higher standard, it feels more solid than the impreza, but yeh for the money you pay for the 2.0L R its a pretty good package, it red lines at 7000rpm from memory, so you can rev it pretty hard, they look pretty decent i guess, the series 2 is out now, with the chrome inserts in the headlights and taillights, they have exactly the same interior as the WRX so really no difference there, same wicked seats and feel, just no turbo and no scoop, but im sure you knew that!! dont bother with an Impreza 2.0i its a shitter... but yeh all in all the Impreza 2.0R is a pretty decent package with alloys and the wrx bodykit on it.. (bar the scoop)
Dont quote me on this coz i really cant say anything.. but i think there will be a new model soon - i think late next year.. who knows what it will look like then.. i hope that info helps you out.. if you have any other questions about the subaru range, just PM me or something hehe cheers!! :P
