What engine do the latest model Preludes have in them? Same as Integra or Civic? Or has it got its own spec engine?

You mean the Prelude that had stop its productions at 2001? It runs a 2.2L DOHC, comes in SI and VTEC YO!!!!! form. There is a ATTS version, which basically same as the Nissan Hi-CAS (not super Hi-CAS). Its a fancy name for 4WS.

Yep, and i guess the next question is, how was it? Its nothing compare to the Integra or Civic. Its too "polite" if you know what i mean.

The next question was kinda like that. I was more curious on how it handled compared to the FTO. What was it's power output on the VTEC YO!!!!! version?

Well it didn't handle as well as the FTO and the power is rated at 147kw and 212Nm. Its similar to the FTO but it just doesn't seem to go as hard.

Only the ATTS comes with 4WS. And you won't notice the different unless you take it to a track.

The Type R is the faster car, its been proven! they are so close, on the street it really depends on the driver!

Conclusion is:

Mivec and VTEC YO!!!!! are the same thing. Which is better? They are the same. In a way its a date technology and a lot of manufacturers use a gradual system, and not a on off switch.

FTO is a more civilised machine, it may of been a competior to the Type R in its day it was a better machine to live with.

The Honda is not as easy to live with, its suspension is stiffer, its engine is more harsh.

The main reason why the Type R is quicker its because of its shorter hearing.

On paper the specs may have both cars tied, but the Type R engine has better power delivery, bascially more power at a given RPM.

Its lighter.

Talk about a 6 cylinder having better torque than a 4 is crap. Its more based on capacity.

Mitsubishi could have made the FTO quicker, but they already had the GTO and EVO. Honda has the Type R and that was it. You could have gone the NSX but that was overly expensive.

Why is the FTO compared to the Tyre R so much? How often do you encounter one on the street???

Integra is the Racer
FTO is the cruiser.
