evolution FQ-400

Post by lawrencetlc »

hey guys...

heard that mitsubishi UK upgraded their evolution to 405bhp, with 3.5 seconds from 0-100km/h...

i wonder if it is available in australia... can we get those cars imported from UK?? is it compliant to australian standard?

just a silly question...

thanks

it was a uk model only
only 50 made and it was i think only aval in 2005 in the evo 8 model.
now there is an fq360 in the 9, but your looking at $85k+, and its only aval in the uk
If your really interested, by an Mr from japan, import it, and add a few goodies to get to 400hp (its not that hard in these beasts !)

yeah i am sure to be interested in getting one...
but the problem is the money... haha...

anyone wants to sponsor me one?? i can do advertisement for you by sticking your company name on the car...

anyway... may get one like 3-4 years later when i start working and earning money.. at the moment its my dream car (although i might change when i get to that stage)...

but after 3-4 years, i think i will go for evo X... wonder if they have FQ360 or 400 for that...

kinda secret at the moment... so eager to know more...

anyway, thanks for the info...

hoho!!!
i've seen the video!!!

its such a fast car that it can go faster than a lamborghini...

well, but its not recommended though... and FQ 320 is the one he recommends in the video...

if compare with the UK specs, what's australia's evo's spec? does it reach 320 bhp, or is it more or less??

Uk spec evos are same spec as Aus evos
Aus evos are actually european spec not Jap spec
as for the FQ series, they are not tuned by mitsubishi, but by the Fq company!
basically they buy the stock evo MR and add mods on and tune it WITH WARRANTY!!! can u believe that!
well...its not hard to get 400HP in an evo, its the fine tuning to get it on the ground and not off setting handling is the hard bit.
its like in a gtst skyline, u can make it really fast in straight line...but it cant turn!!!
(dont give me that drifting bullshit :p)

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.
