I'm rather enjoying spinning my tyres and calling the rain an excuse

All week people, and fingers crossed for the dam flooding!

Isn't it absolutely fantastic?

Give Adelaide a go...3 days ago we were in high 30's an it was too hot for me to even go out and wash the car...I go out yesterday as it's high twenties, and make her all shiny...What happens today? f**king 18 degrees and raining. My car is now filthy again. FML

Pain?
I'm loving it.

The FTO is a hoot in the wet, completely forgot.

Gotta say I'd be having more fun on a track, but you can stick it in the bends and have the car glide round from the lift off.

Every single time I stopped I had to feather the throttle as the front would otherwise spin up, does that even in the dry meanwhile.

Doesn't help having now old and probably hard tyres, but does make for some interesting driving.

Back in the merc today and all it does is sink into the road making it's own tracks, damn thing's on rails and will not spin or step out in the wet. Boring.

Few weeks ago in Tas we had a mid 20s day and bucket loads of rain around 7pm, tried to get up a side street to get into woolies and sat there spinning creeping backwards. Would've been embarrasing if I didn't get grip and took off up the hill. 8)

If you hadn't sold so much of the old one off I'd have taken it on as a project car.
