Well, having gotten the gearbox out of the NX about an hour ago, I'll be either pulling it apart or (hopefully) installing the new parts into the gearbox. I'll bring the old clutch and flywheel with me just to show everyone what happens when you drive a car in 3rd, 4th and reverse.

You mean what happens when Lawso drives a car...
I improved that car a whole lot when I bought it, and then I sell it to the one person who could break it as soon as he turned the key.

What was I thinking.

Oh yeah, money and a new car

I gotta say meanwhile, if you hadn't bought it, I would have taken it back, as I'm brewing a new project and could use a donor car.
But oh well.

belts are almost brand new (i.e. 6-8 weeks old) and im not 100% sure if It needs loosening or tightening. Ben said it was 2 bolts to adjust or something, dont really trust myself to be honest, dont wanna be driving along and hear one of my belts snap and fly off into the distance. Steering wheel just seems to have heaps of broken sh*t in the centre and horn only works when you push a small spot at the top. Really annoying!

Also, as I asked before, anyone know how to do DIY cold air intake?

yep, theres a plastic connector that connects the horn in the steering wheel... tends to get smashed to pieces under extreme hornage...

depending on how badly it is damaged you may need to replace it or repair it. i repaired mine.

As the weather gods have decided to piss on us again, it's gonna to make tomorrow rather tricky.
We still have 1 garage to use, but that limits us a fair bit, and makes doing services fractionally harder as the garage is not very wide.

We have an alcove to set the bbq up, no issues there.

See how we go.
