DIY Day Sydney (Round 2)

Post by Daniel2019 »

Finishing exams at the moment. Looking to have another DIY day at mine. Will either be Saturday 5/5 or Saturday 12/5. Could do other days potentially, pending work.

Once again, 0423707472 is my number, I live in the Eastern suburbs of sydney, in botany. Understood if 5/5 is too short notice. Let me know who wants what date, what needs to be done (no major work i.e. rear spark plugs unless you are 100% confident please) Can do most service work, fix up most things, clean cars, etc.

I have a garage full of tools, BYO if possible but if not thats fine too. Room for 5 cars in driveway, more out front on grass. Probably get everyone to chip in for lunch, pending numbers.

1. Myself - fix window rattle, fix horn + steering wheel, POSSIBLE vinyl and or sticker fitting, possible hose replacement
2.

Cool. I'm from Rosebery.

Is replacing front and rear spark plugs too much of a hassle on that day?

From what ive heard - fronts no, rears yes.

Im happy for you to do it round here as long as someone is competent with it and can get it done in a day.
I fix cars.

I probably can do the front with my eyes closed. but never done the rear bank before so if anyone have done it before and will be attending the DIY will be great.

Rear banks not that difficult. U just need to remove the intake. 1 to 2 hours tops.

Yeah, rear plugs are not that hard to change . If you attend the DIY day I can tell you what to do.

+1 for above comments.
Rears aren't too bad, - can take a bit longer than a couple of hours if you have never done them before and you are being really cautious,
