SOLD - 97 Facelift Black FTO in NSW with a lot of love

Post by rock_it »

OK, so I may just park this here for a while, and see how it goes.

I am thinking of culling the fleet to just have the Swift, Evo, and my Bike. So the next car to go up for grabs would be the Black Mivec FTO. Cash from this will go into finishing off the Evo, and getting it 100% road legal.

So let me list what I can remember about the car...

1997 (Facelift) GPX
5 speed Manual (Rare apparently)
ABS
Standard interior
Auto Meter 52mm smoked Oil Temp gauge
Auto Meter 52mm smoked Oil Pressure gauge - Sender needs replacing
Auto Meter 52mm smoked Volt gauge
Tein adjustable coilovers
17" wheels (not the Enkei's, the Jap Ones I got with the car)
2 & 3/4 Inch Cat Back Exhaust with Drift 4" Cannon.
G.E Electrical 6000k Xenon Light Upgrade.
Carbon Fibre AB style bonnet
Sniper racing Carbon Fibre boot lid
Genuine GPvR spoiler
EL FTO Kick Plates
RDA slotted rotors
About 40-45% on pads
SAMCO radiator & power steering hoses
Dspeed Clear front indicators
Dwayne Special front bar
Dwayne Special side skirts
Around 170,000K's on the clock
New leather gear boot with red stitching
Steering in pretty good condition as well
All dials/Lights everything works no issues
Paint in top condition - little nicks here and there, but for a 16 year old - Brilliant - Want better? Buy New
Brand new stereo surround
Brand new floor console
Tranny Fluid changed 28/09
Rego till 10/10/2014
2 new front tyres (27/08/13)

Never been an issue for me, and has been well loved. Looking now to get 7.5k for her..

Rims included with the car:

Gauges - Well 2 of them ...

3rd is in a Greedy pod on the dash ...

If she goes, I will have a heap of products to clear as well. These would be:

1) Dwayne rear bar
2) Dwayne front fenders
3) Recaro Seats on FTO Rails
4) ARC intake + Box
5) G4 coilovers for a VersionR

No seagulls please, as I am happy to keep the car and work on it, if I don't get the price I want

I'd hate to see this trashed.
Luckily for the price tag, it won't get trashed as easily or quickly.

For the cars sake, I hope you keep it, for your sake, GLWS if it goes through.

I know. :(

Unless I can sell on the barina without making a loss, I won't be able to afford it. The Triton already costs me heaps, and apprentice wages definitely don't help :(

just do minor fix up to the Barina and sell it on.
Compact econo boxes sell well if they 'appear' clean.

Good wash and scrub, sell it for double easily.

Am working on that. Doing a full service to it this weekend, and will buy some white spray cans to re-spray the bonnet and roof. Steam clean the interior and probably get $2k for it?
