EOI - SN00R2 - Sold!

Post by Bennoz »

Well, the club secretary has finally decided she needs a bigger car, so it looks like SN00R is up for sale!

A breif history; Originally purchased off Dwayne (dstocks) it was imported into Australia many years ago, but sat pranged in a panel shop in Canberra for years with a mere 19,000kms on the clock. In the 5 years we've had the car, it still only has 60,XXX genuine kms on it. It's only used as a weekend warior these days, as she also has a company car. It was originally an auto, but I converted it to a manual. It still has the factory floor mats, Jap rego sticker & original Japanese battery in her.

Mods
- 2.0L Mivec with 60,XXX genuine kms
- Full 2.5" stainless mandrel bent system from Hi Tech Muflers in Darlinghurst with custom 'down pipe' or 'Y pipe.
- UAS 4" whale dick intake pipe with 4" pod filter
- Fully rebuilt gearbox with all bearings replaced
- Ralliart Helical LSD
- Excedy MH7277 Heavy Duty clutch
- 18 x 8 Apache rims
- King Superlow springs
- KYB shocks
- Front strut brace
- Full SuperPro poly bush kit (Anti lift variant)
- Bendix Heavy Duty front brake pads
- Blue Samco hose kit
- Momo Steering wheel
- Wood grain interior
- Chrome dial rings
- Fully resprayed silver with a light purple pearl

The Bad
- Clunk coming from the drivers side - I've torn my hair out looking for it, replaced every component I can think of & I still haven't found it. I'm thinking now it's either the shock or the swaybar mount.
- Rust patch (not the normal roof rust) just the one spot above the drivers door sill. Looks like it was due to bad prep work before the respray.
- Woodgrain centre console has a a crack in it. Just the one.

Would love to see it go to a club member, especially as it covered in club stickers  I've serviced & maintained it all it's life, so she's had regular oil changes etc. Cam belt has not been done because it doesn't need it yet!

We are after $7000 ono.

There's more pics & her history here: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=24219

This pic is a little bit old. Pre manual conversion & steering wheel, mainly to show the woodgrain.

Will it have trouble clearing the pits in WA, with its present form?

example: Does a manual conversion require an Engineer's Cert?

Shouldn't be a problem. They probably won't even notice.
I just had to add it ......

I very much doubt it. As said above, they wouldnt know and even if they did, its a straight bolt in - nothing to engineer

This one would be a good pickup. Still had the new car smell when I sold it.
