Dras' GPX FTO [SOLD]

Post by Dras »

After 12 great years the time has come for me to part ways with my FTO.

It has been 15,880 kms since the engine was fully reconditioned by ARA Engine Reconditioning. The gearbox was reconditioned and the suspension replaced not long prior.

List of recent work done (I have receipts for most of the items):
- Fitting a reconditioned GPX motor (compression increased to 10.5:1 and balanced)
- Reconditioned GPvR 5 speed manual gearbox with helical LSD
- Reconditioned steering rack
- Reconditioned GPX front calipers (brakes)
- DBA Slotted front rotors (brakes)
- Bendix ultimate front brake pads
- New Exedy heavy duty clutch
- New water pump
- New hydraulic tensioner
- New idler pulleys
- New timing & accessory belts
- New K&N panel filter
- New custom BC Racing Gold coil overs (customized by BC Racing to provide a softer ride)
- Polyurethane bushes
- New drop links front and back
- 35W HID headlights
- 55W HID fog lights in the stock enclosure
- Electronic cruise control kit
- Aircon re-gas with new receiver drier and seals
- JVC headunit with IPod connect via centre console and bluetooth connectivity
- Isotta leather steering wheel
- New front swaybar
- 100 cell high flow catalytic converter
- New clutch master and slave cylinders
- Haltech interceptor with custom tune
- New alternator
- New o2 sensor
- New dash lights

The car also features:
- 2.5" stainless steel cat back exhaust Fujitsubo Giken exhaust (came with car from Japan and is quiet as stock)
- RPW extractors
- UAS intake pipe
- Strut brace
- Vielside style front bar and rear spoiler
- Remote central locking

The car was originally bought by my father 15 years ago from Northshore Mitsubishi who, to the best of my knowledge imported the car. It is my understanding that the car was manufactured in November 1994 with 1995 compliance plates.

I have very much enjoyed owning this car and it is with a heavy heart that I let it go. Everything on the car works and is in good working order.

More info on the engine reco can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=25219&hilit=project+rejuvinate

      Thank you.

It drives very nicely but I have purchased myself a nice little BMW so unfortunately the FTO needs to go.
