Yeah, people would rather buy a 3k do-er-uper ... They don't think the cost to fix these is actually going to exceed the cost of buying a mint FTO ...
I just had to add it ......

Turns out there were a few blue GP models built (somewhere around 1000)
They were build as the First 'GP' (non version R) model as a celebration of mitsubishi producing 100,000 FTO's and we're only produced in this blue

Yup it's one of the First GP's ever...

I was going through the car decoder when I discovered it and thought of your car.. I've also got a dealership brochure from Japan that shows one, I'll post up a pic when I get home tonight.

Is that including the original FTO? Because there was only around 36,000 FTOs made..
I fix cars.

It's in the series 2 prefacelift booklet you have Mike. Definitely looked like a stock GR though.

So the unthinkable has happened. I've been in Perth the last few weeks and my gf has been driving my car. A drunk guy ran a red light and collided with the front of the car. People are okay. Driver did an runner. It's a black Daewoo with the licence plate QJZ something

Anyway car is apparently still okay to drive but with headlights are cracked and bonnet is messed etc.

...anyway this is so sh*t!!!

RIP good car

Yeah it's insured for a couple of pennies. Will wait for quote. So obviously the price of this has dropped. Depending on the condition it might be a parts sale :'(

UPDATE: Car is written off (because of cost of parts) but is still driveable.

Selling wreck for $2k ono down from 7k. Still driveable - just needs the following parts:

-Bonnet
- Front Bar
- Left Headlight
- Air con condenser

Engine works fine, radiator is fine, all the expensive goods are fine. Interior is obviously okay. Wheels and tyres are unchanged.

Sad to part with it this way but if you are car savvy and have some parts floating around i.e. this forum, then it wont be much work before you get it back to good road condition. I can take pictures when I get the chance and post up.

Hate to be a c**t (not entirely true)
2k is extremely high for a wreck, max would be about $1k assuming it's in working order (no damage)

I think the best thing to do it put up some photos, the goods/bads and then set the price to whatever you want but set it as negotiable
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others
