SOLD Vic. 1995 FTO GPX Tiptronic

Post by Supplanter »

Now that I have a company car I don't drive this anymore, so it is just taking space in the garage.

95 GPX Tiptronic
Metalic light blue
225000kms
1 owner for the last 13 years
$4000

The Good:

Tan leatherette seat covers
KMC v3 dials
Dial surrounds
Needle cups
Full set of floor mats
DSpeed clear side indicators
No roof rust
Sunroof
Defi head up display
Footwell lights
Grooved crossdrillled front rotors
Toyo Proxes 4 Tyres with plenty of tread
Front strut bar
Both major services done

The Bad:

Sun roof shades need to be replaced
Paint is a bit faded in places
Hole in driver's side seat

Hello! I'm looking to purchase my first FTO and I quite like the car that you've listed for sale here. It seems to fit most of the criteria that I'm looking for. How do I get in contact with you? Thanks!

Thanks Supplanter for the quick reply.

Showed the pics to my other half this evening... he liked the car but thought the light colour interior was totally impractical for where we live (dusty/muddy country qld). While I contemplate these words of wisdom I have a couple of other questions....

Can anyone tell me if a Vic issued RWC can be used to transfer the car to Qld rego or would I need to get a Qld RWC?

Also, is it an easy fix to replace the sunroof shades? Cost? Will it need to be done for roadworthy?

If it is like NSW, the car will have to go over the pits and a blue slip issued. Then registration. Looks like that is the same standard for SA as well... So would assume QLD will be the same.
I just had to add it ......

The shades need to be replaced, the only reason I haven't done it myself is because I haven't been able to track any down.

They're leatherette covers - probably more ideal for dusty/muddy conditions because it'll just wipe off

Thought you would never sell this car. At $4,000 it's quite a bargain for anyone who is keen...
