hilux?
80 series Landcruiser?

but if I'm correct with one of them, you would have technically lied to us. :p

Solid front axle too, nice!

The old 2.8's are a solid motor, but don't expect to get anywhere in a hurry  Even with a turbo kit they're a slug of a thing.
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

Thanks Fraz,
It was a good buy at $2500.
Interior is in suprisingly great nick, although the front seats are split (vinyl).

It only takes about 2km to get up to 110km/h
But it will be good for the block of land/farm, and I'm sure we will have some fun with it in the Flinders Ranges and on the beach.

My Hilux didn't live with me for too long...

I sold it already
Bought it for $2500, sold it for $3500
I did spend $1500 on it though

I was given a company ute a week before Xmas, so I didn't really need the Hilux any more.
Company ute is a single cab 4x4 4cyl turbo Holden Rodeo with big tool boxes on the back.
It's got 280000 kms on it.
But I don't have to pay for fuel and I get to bring all my good tools home every day.

I got an upgrade :P

My work KPI's have been #1 for the last 4 months, so...

A new ute was purchased at work, 2015 Holden Colorado.
It was given to me last week :D I couldn't believe it when the boss told me :shaking2:
6 speed manual, 4x4, heavy duty springs (the tray is chest height), factory steel tray with checker plate deck.

Some other techs are not very happy with the boss's choice of giving it to me, all I can say to them is :thebird:

So gone is the 300000km old ute....gone to another tech
