SN00R2

Post by Bennoz »

For those of you that know my other half Kaz, this is her car.

Originally purchased off Dwayne (dstocks - and correct me if Im wrong Dwayne) but it was imported into Australia many years ago, but sat pranged in a panel shop in Canberra for years. To this day it still only has 45,000 kms on it, after it was repaired & we bought it off Dwayne with a mere 19,000kms on the clock.

She pulls hard I tell you, real hard. Only mods to date, a my old exhaust (a full 2.5" stainless mandrel bent system from Hi Tech Muflers in Darlinghurst) with custom 'down pipe' or 'Y pipe' as some of you call it, and a UAS whale dick intake with 4" pod. Now she's finally got some new wheels & has a manual conversion on the horizon.

Soooooo clean! If I have the money in future I wanna do a manual conversion too! Estimates on cost for urs bennoz? And may I ask "lawsochap" I was whirling around random threads and stumbled upon a thread (cannot recall which one) but I was given the impression something happened to your FTO? :o. Is that true or am I mistaken

Nice, what gearbox was that in?

Remember to take plenty of pics so we can identify in future, including through the shaft splines. Did u get some pics of the other diffs as well to put up in the diffs thread?

Was a late model Version R box ;) Some subtle other differences between it & my box, it was interesting to do.

Yep, was 27 spline & a straight through diff. Identifying features being the helical cogs coming through the casing :)

Do you know the VIN of the car it came out of? It would be interesting to see what ASA / CAPS has to say.
