Got the front and rear strut braces powder coated today :)
$30 for the two of them. The rear is a matte black, while the front bar is also matte black, and the strut ends is gun metal grey :)
I'll get better photos tomorrow.

Some better pics instead of the stupid night shots, The black almost perfectly matches the black plastidip of the engine cover.
Not very visible in the pics is the sparkle on the end caps.

HIDs arrived today, Morimoto Five5 6000K 50W, quite small ballasts so should be easy to mount in a hidden spot.
Will be wiring it up later this week :)

Got it all installed yesterday, then took it for a test drive and everybody high beamed me...
Took it to my mechanic who aligned them for me for free, and so far no body has high beamed me since :)

They were pretty easy to install, although I removed the front bumper to mount everything nicely.
I mounted the Ballasts next to the horns, and the relays where the factory ballasts were under the passenger's headlight.

I'll grab some images of them when I take the bar back off next. Which will most likely be when I install the halos, whenever they arrive...

Have also ordered a new 2012 Nexus 7, and a new power supply to run it in the car to replace the original Galaxy tab that's there at the moment.

Looks really nice man.

what size are they? offset? width?
shame you have to have it so high from the body kit being so low. my front end scrapes everywhere

They're 18X9 +30 with a 235/40* tyre.
I could lower the front MAYBE an inch, but it was scraping a bit on full lock, the rear was constantly scraping, so that's getting rolled on Monday :)

Haha, was wondering. Be scraping like no tomorrow with that size! Unless you're Bennoz.

It's bad enough as it is with the 40 :p
I'm quite tempted to put them back on over the weekend, and get some better pics, and maybe put the one side skirt on so that I can see how it all looks :)
Once the paint goes on the front/rear/sideskirts the outside will be almost finished :)
Well the major stuff...

    Tell me about it :(
I'm in my last week of my degree at the moment, so haven't been able to work on any body work for about a month or so, the front bar is almost ready for a respray though :D
I just have to clean up the underside of where the numberplate block used to be, and then I can take it to get done.
I got a quote for $250 to respray it, which isn't too bad. So hopefully in a month or so that should be done!

The rear bar still needs quite a lot of work done though, so that will be quite a while later. sadly...

Tested two of the wheels, with the side skirts on as well, ignore the lean of the car, it's because there's only two wheels on.

    Haha thanks.

Still have to do the other side skirt, and finish this one and get it properly painted...
And of course, finish the front bar, and the rear bar, then get those painted...
