Re: ADZSKI's FTO
The annoying thing is I'll have to remove them every 6 months for a WOF if I don't get them certed...
And I have to get the wheel wells bashed to be able to fit the wheels properly before I can go for a cert...

Re: ADZSKI's FTO
yeah, they can be for some things, and not for others, it's kind of weird.
Coilovers require certing, but then we don't have stupid laws around Pod filters.
You can have really stretched tyres, and the wheels and tyre wall can be poking out of the body, but as long as the tread is under the guard, you're fine... haha

Re: ADZSKI's FTO
Sahin's y-pipe was around $200 from memory. Not sure on the rest of it, would guess it wouldn't be much given there's no resonators or a muffler go add to costs.

That's pretty good if it's for that price.adzski wrote:spoke to my exhaust shop today, quoted me around 350 with y pipe and straight pipe installed.

Re: ADZSKI's FTO
Update
Ok so i got defected again due to my wheels protuding, got it cleared, had to change
. inner cv boot both sides
. driver side rack end
. polish head lights
New parts
. fto rear light garnish
. fitted my stainless kick panels still need to writ them
soon to be done
.basically going to do all my suspension, do all the bushings, change tie rods
. new engine mounts
. rear camber arms
. rebuild my 3 piece wheels, will provide a diy for anyone with 3 piece or 2 piece wheels
. muffler delete
. light weight crank pulley
. oil pressure & temp guages (looking for the original mitsubishi ones that were released on the fto)
things that will be slowly happening within the next year, i am going to turbo the car, keeping the stock gr motor, going to find one cheap and do a rebuild on it, this part will be the most interesting and fun. not really chasing super high power figures probably around 170-200kw atw. haven't decided on a ecu as of yet. will slowly change things that will prep it fro the turbo.will be similar to vipfto's build. haven't decided on which turbo yet, i am going to wait till i find the motor first and then i will decide based on internals.

Sounds like you'll be busy!
I can tell you 170kw atw is plenty quick having been in vipfto's car a couple times.

Re: ADZSKI's FTO
I reckon 170-180 is the sweet spot if you want to keep the power down.
Then again, I still need to take mine in to get the cam timing and final tune done.

. i pulled apart my 3 piece wheels last night, hated every minute of pulling them apart.
. will fit garnish in a couple of days, interested to see how it will look

Need to update my build thread. :lol:adzski wrote:vectose what is your set up?Vectose wrote:I reckon 170-180 is the sweet spot if you want to keep the power down.

I'm also MIVEC so will be a bit different.
TD05-16G
Haltech PS1000
WRX STI 565cc pink injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Flex fuel sensor
Zeitronix ZT-3 Wideband
Got a spare engine and ran a seal/gasket kit through it and also used 1mm decompression shims for the engine. The rest of the engine is stock.
My last tune was just the before the bonfire and made 202kw at 14psi.
