Thanks, so do I :D

I spent about $1500 - $2000 and 3 weeks off work to do it myself.
I was quoted $6000 for roof repair and full respray.
I was going to post photos of the exercise but I thought I had enough photos for now

It's looking good :thumright: .
Love the quick release wheel and shift light.
Not a big stereo fan any more but good install and good pick on brand pioneer.

Oh and the last pics a great :D .

Thanks Aza, I always wanted a quick release and now I have it :cheeky:
The shift light is fun too, Blue lights = non MIVEC, Red lights = Mivec, all lights flash @ 8000rpm for gear change :D

The last photos = long hours alone in the dark looking up :D

So the $1500-$2000 was for the bodywork? Or did you do it all yourself, but for the same work it would've been $6000? Sorry, my brain isn't working. :|

I went and got quotes for the lot and the cheapest one I got was $6000.
So I decided to give it a go myself, took 3 weeks off work, spent $1500-$2000, bought supplies, paint, a decent paint gun (already had compressor) and a big tent to use as a spray booth.
A lot of hard work and wola a shiny new FTO :D

Shoot! If the paint looks as good as it does in real life as it does in the pictures, then you're a master with that spray gun! 8O knowing you did it yourself I'm thoroughly impressed.

was it a same colour respray? like did you do the insides of the doors and all of that other stuff as well?

That's awesome, and wtf is with that rust, how can the previous owner let that happen? :x

Good work, I honestly can't believe you did that yourself. I'd just pay you $2k to respray my car if I ever needed it done
