What plug did you end up using for the parkers? I need to get around to sorting that out, but after swapping headlights I've only got one of the plugs in and the other has gone awol

Got some out of a Mazda 121 metro. Fit okay, I spent an hour at the wreckers with FTO headlight trying all different types of cars/plugs and that's the only one. Tried all the lancers, Magnas galants too

Sorted the TPS however have found the APS is faulty and is what is giving me a TCL error.

Found a replacement on eBay for $20 so will give that a go.

Also cleared all my abs codes using a hidden jumper connection under the stereo.

I had replaced the dodgy sensor a while ago but it kept reading the same error.

Pics below of TPS adjustment method for TCL and hidden connector for clearing ABS codes.

Set at the sweet spot of approx 630mV by turning the TPS with ignition at ON position.

Okay bit more work - got a few bits of Dwayne and other members

-Floor console in
-Rear seat bottom clip replaced
-Upholstery clips replaced in boot
-Stereo in with new wiring, all screws were in this time!
-Replaced blown globes in interior
-Rear Speakers wired into headunit

Currently getting a Mivec tappet tool made up so I can adjust the sewing machine, will post video before and after.

Also have to take the rear cam carrier off to fix an oil leak so will be redoing the timing belt *sigh*

Update:
Bought a wreck for for real cheap so I could get the bonnet/steering wheel/battery from it for a RWC.

I attempted to adjust tappets and failed miserably due to my sh*tty home made socket.

So I've got it on stands ready to take the timing belt off to get the cam carrier out to fix the leak.

After that's done I'll organise a mobile guy to do the tappets, unless you wanna fly up Rob haha.

I'll pay ya flights and sh*t, probably work out the same lol

All coming together now.

Tappets and timing done by rob, cam carriers resealed, fully degreased bay and under carriage, all wiring issues solved, swapped aircon compressor, stock bonnet on, stock intake, engine harness repaired and recovered.

Lol it's parked out the back for a week possibly as Jerry (Vanadinite) might be inspecting the driveshafts on his fto and possible subframe upgrade.

Lol this is how it stands, covered to brace for bad weather!

Well driven to work 5 times this week, no issues besides a mushy clutch. (Have ordered a new Master Cylinder as I can hear its sucking air from somewhere)

So weird coming from the Evo feels like i'm so f**king low to the ground.

Well had a wheel alignment - steering is feeling great now.

Replaced two coilpacks that were giving me a misfire, had to test resistance to find which ones.

Just chasing a new stepper motor, where is the best place to buy them? There's a lot of different ones on aliexpress and ebay - not sure which one..
