Bit more of an update..

All wiring in for reverse camera. Was a little surprised that there is not a full paint job done back there.. I mean, I can understand no clear coat, but my old Hyundai had more paint on the unseen parts..

Lol.. She doesn't know.. Only part she knows is the stereo is coming out, and the rear bar was off for the camera.. This is the 3rd time the car has been pulled apart.. :)

Granted it is actually cheaper than the Sonata, but less than 10k.. So yeah these thing are meant to retail for almost 19k (in auto).. So although a cheap car, I still would have thought that being a Suzuki it just would have been painted a little more. But, I guess I have a higher expectation of their Brand than what they provide to the consumer..

Their bikes and their cars are chalk and cheese, despite the way they advertise.

Suzuki of old were a little better.

But today they simply cut corners in order to make a profit on a very difficult industry to stay afloat in.
Not the first car I've seen like that, and certainly in these times, won't be the last.

Not meant to outlive their owner these types of cars.

I have programmed the head unit to reject 1D and Ronan Keating songs... Grrrr...

The tweeters are in a real weird position ... Will be interesting to hear the sound... Will dig up the pics...

I can't mention all the little cock suckers... No Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, boy bands etc.

Now, back on topic... Tweeters are put on a bracket...

Now this is done, for 2 reasons.. 1 is not to drill into the new door trims... But the second is actually for sound... So, they are mounted....

Haha, tweeters are meant to lift the sound stage, not drop it down to your feet.

If you're spending a lot of money on the sound system, you should go buy some genuine pillar plastics as spares and get the factory ones cut and molded with a tweeter hole.

Yeah I want to check with the bloke on this one .. He is a DB and Sound expert ... So not sure of his methodology here... I know the DSP is going to be custom tuning the sound, and that in any set up the tweeter should not be more than 30cm from the mid... But yeah, even this seems odd to me..
