interesting spot for the tweeters??

They are pretty much going to be ineffective down that low, best spot is usually
around dash height. Don't the swifts have a standard tweeter spot in the door card?

GA was 4 speaker stereo .. GLX and above was 6 speaker .. I assume the other 2 speakers were a tweeter...

Been a while since anything was done with this car ... But just bought the wife some rims for Christmas... So she doesn't know they are coming yet...

Ended up with a set of 15's, as I don't want to go any higher than stock wheel size. Comfort factor I guess...

The will be wrapped in Falken ZE912 185/60R15 ... So I loose a bit on the profile for some reason, as the car has 65's on it at the moment... But that shouldn't cause any issues...

OK ..

So Rims came in today ... Was going to hide them in the garage and put on at Christmas as a "present" for the wife... But got talked into putting them on today by a work colleague...

Gave my old stockies to a fellow swift owner stuck at the tyre shop... In exchange for a T-shirt ... Lock nuts, ring adapter, fitting, balancing etc. So worked out quite well ...

Couple of quick happy snaps ....

Let's see if the wife notices the change...

Friends Dad did that for his wife on her BMW.

Funny enough, it still ended up being a present, as she never did notice.

You might be lucky.

Needs more ass drag.

Also, not the most flattering angle for the Swift I reckon.
The FTO can get away with it, due to proportions.

No low .. I like being able to drive into carparks and not have to worry ...

Have seen the Turbo kits and superchargers for the sport... But not for my 1.4l... And also .. Auto ... :(

So no point..

Threw on my mew side skirts last night.. Was working to the wee hours of the morn.. Did some test fitting of other parts before I start prepping and painting as well..

Rear bar:

Front pods (Fibreglass):

So you can kind of see the skirt in the 2nd pic above.. But I need a good day shot.. So may get 1 tomorrow.. Wife hasn't noticed the skirts yet.. So I don't want to draw attention to why I am taking photos.. And had golf at 7:15am.. So am just recovering from that and gym..

Skirt close up:

I also bought a 2nd bumper extension that sat a little higher to cover a parking "love tap". This front one had a bit of trouble lining up.. So not sure if it has to be put on while the whole bar is off the car.. Or if it is a bad mold.. Considering it is plastic, i thought it should line up like the rear... So no pic as a comparison..

Here is the love tap I wanted to hide..
