Nath's GPX

Post by Nath »

As promised I'll be posting pics of all the work I do to the already heavily modded GPX previously owned by renzkuken1.

Wheels were 18" which didn't sit right with me being a performance nut yet I didn't want to go smaller than 17" for aesthetics so to keep the balance I went with light weight 17's. I know they are only KING wheels, but the specs and price was right :o

Not the best pic, didn't realise there were so many reflections but it'll do. Once I sort out ride height I think it will look much better. It does put down more torque in low revs and takes corners smoother with more steering wheel feedback. I'm stoked :D
Oh and no more scrubbing in tight turns. There was quite a bit of damage to both guards and trim. Almost lost a side skirt lol

This ^^. Never been a fan of spoilerless. Looks like there is something missing (and there is). Mind you, id be looking for a version R wing, not a GPX one. Thats my opinion though and its not my car. Looks good all the same. Always liked the red. 17's are a big improvement BTW.

You guys are a crack up. Of course there will always be a differing opinion and it's great you guys share it freely and also what makes a strong club. You don't see as much of this in other clubs, especially on the race scene (well not in the last 10 years that I've seen).

They look so much better from behind without the spoiler. And every other angle.

yeah that looks great... drop the front another inch and it will be perfect... dont mind the red in spoilerless... about the only colour that can pull it off

I'll agree with dstocks, with a bodykit like that a GPX wing would look too small and underwhelming when matched with the rest of the car.

    ...and the adventure begins :P

Wheels look better now, you chose well.
I don't like them wingless either, but each to their own, you need to get the look that makes you happy.
