      ok so im after some help this time. The car is having trouble upon start up..

      So basically whats happening is when I go to start the car, it starts up then dies instantly.. Then I turn the key to start it again and it sounds like its having more toruble starting and I have to hold the key turned for longer while pressing the accelerator in.

      it struggles to start when I do this but it always starts eventually. it has smoke coming out of the exhaust as well but it dissapears very quickly.

      Any ideas? sorry its kind of hard to explain haha

      I'll let someone else with more knowledge chime in, but for my 2c good bet it's the starter motor. Or the alternator.

      Its been sitting for a while, so id start to lean towards fuel being an issue. Lack of idle could well be the stepper motor.

        ive been trying to start it every couple of days or so so keep it turning and to keep it from sitting too long..

        and it idles fine after it starts up the second time :/

        I dont know.. maybe I should record it and put a video up to help explain it haha

        Yeah, but the octane level of the fuel is slowly dropping and the fuel may be starting to separate (I had this trouble recently with mine due to lack of driving).

          I chucked a bottle of injector cleaner in as well and that made it run much smoother, but you need to be able to drive it on a decent trip to get the benefit there.

              Well she's been registered for about a month now! (about time :roll: ) Been so busy with university but now I have a lot more time to put into it.

              List of things to do;
              -Fix and install the DC front bar
              -Clear side indicators
              -Front and possibly rear strut bars
              -Install double din head unit, speakers, amp etc
              -Fix roof rust (dont really want to)
