Anyway, if you do have spark or fuel issues you could be pushing/clutching the FTO up and down the street all day and still not start it.

Live on a slight hill, or really flat ground? haha
I wouldn't be able to do that here due to the damn uneven gravel, and the fact that I'm not the hulk...

I remember when my battery was dead, had to push it on a flat street, quickly jump in and pop the clutch.

No funnier than a giant clown fitting into a tiny clown car.

ok so I think I have a problem with the ignition failure sensor.. :(

anyone had any experience with this before? how much would it cost to fix something like this, im having an auto electrician come around tomorrow to have a look, is that a good idea or is it something I can fix myself?

IFS is a 2 minute job to replace, not very expensive either.

sparky came and narrowed it down to the ignition failure sensor or the camshaft sensor (was quite expensive telling me what I had already suspected :x ) but at least I know now. hopefully its easy for me to replace like you guys said :)

She is alive again!

Big thanks to dwayne for giving me a lot of advice thanks also to everyone else who did the same and to sahin for getting me the ifs very quickly and efficiently :)

It had a bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust when it kicked into life, i know white means coolant/water, could it be some rain water that got in as I was working on the car (light rain) or is more likely a leak somewhere? its never had smoke before from it..

But now I can get it registered and begin improving on it!

plans are in no real order:
-front strut brace
-lowered springs
-led dash upgrade
-facelift bumper
-version r spoiler
-interior work
