My commodore bro

Post by destinationtoby »

Hey hey guiz how yaz all doinn
so I got rid of my hilux becos I just couldn't afford to keep fixing it. And the fuel was getting ridiculous. And I bought a commy .... Why? Because cheap, new, fast & luxury.
When I'm aloud, Ima get a Gu single cab nissan patrol, turbo diesel, and do a lap around Aus.

Anyway here's the specs. I know most of you will hate it lol but idc. And f**k the commodore forum, I love you guys.

2008 Vz commodore
Alloytec 3.6l v6 engine with a bolt on supercharger kit.
This kit to be exact > http://www.raptorsc.com.au/kits.php?id=37

Raptor supercharger, big black stealthy front mount, 250rwkw, running 10psi & all tuned by castle hill performance, two inline GReddy blow off valves, hurricane extractors and duel hurricane exhaust all the way through, tru-trac LSD, lowered by pedders,18" ve ss wheels, paint has got some sort of a pearl through it (it's sparkly in the sun) wicked sound system.
Absolutely love the car, has sooo much torque it's the best sleeper. The power is awesome, never driven anything like it. Completely and utterly destroys the FTO, off the line, straight line watever haha a mate has a ve ss v8 with just zorst, my car makes him cry. I swear I can nearly wheel stand it, there is that much torque, And it feels so safe and quiet being such a new car. As much as I looooooove the FTO, it will always be old on the inside.

I "accidently "dropped a bolt into the manifold through a little hole, so I gave her chopsticks and some blutack and asked if she culd get it out with her little hands

The last pic is a mates turbo falcon, recently ran 295rwkw on the dyno. The commy is i2car lengths ahead of him in like 5seconds off the mark not matter what  how does that work? When he has more power

It has an absolute awesome sound to it (can kinda hear it in the vid) not too loud, no raspiness  perfect imo

Better traction? Lighter car? Your mate is sh*t at shifting? There is something wrong with his car?

Sounds good. + why do people always bash on rasp? Like what kind of rasp are we talking? The only rasp I know is bmw m3 rasp and it sounds f**king awesome ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dBrhzUuUF1A )

Both our cars are auto hahaha so can't blame shifting.. That Beamer sounds like someone drilled a few holes in the exhaust

Why am I not surprised lol! Not a bad pic though all the same

Because horsepower doesn't mean sh*t. Torque is what accelerates your car.
Tuners who actually know what they're doing tune for area under the curve, not peak power.
