Re: BJK's FTO #2: The GPX-R
Had a wheel alignment this morning, and picked up my set of future rubber: Potenza RE003 235/45. Will probably scrub up front like the Invo's are doing now, but only on tighter turns. Despite getting stuck behind a couple slow-pokes, had a reasonable hills run to see how all the modifications have stacked up. Pretty impressed overall, though I wasn't pushing it hard. That underbody H-brace is good sh*t.

Less than two months out of the shop. Guess who gets rear ended by a taxi?
Waiting to turn and driver behind me had thought I'd gone. Have seen the crash repairers for a quote, with any luck will be able to snag a dstocks bar. Owner of cab seems rather keen to not go through insurance, so I'll show him the bill, and if he doesn't like it, I'll leave insurance to chase it up.

Yeah was on a cruise and we were mucking around on the highway and he rear ended me and I nearly rear ended Matt. This was 3 weeks after my respray and I kept it on the down low lol. I got free tyres and a nice new bar with quad exhaust cutout professionally because of it though so I was happy

If he does have insurance (and I reckon he'd be pretty damn stupid not to, but he seems half illiterate anyway), he probably just doesn't want his premiums going up I imagine. If he pays what the crash shop is quoting (I might throw a bit on top) then we'll be good.ZFL45H1 wrote:He just doesn't want a bad rep from his work too bad for him I wouldn't risk it. Those wheels look like they fit really well ay. Cars looking good buddy, amazing what a facelift bumper does to modernise the FTO

Cheers man. They're wide enough that even with the high offset they still fill the guards pretty well!JAM047 wrote:Those wheels look like they fit really well ay. Cars looking good buddy, amazing what a facelift bumper does to modernise the FTO
Love the Facelift (even if the car is now 50 shades of white lol)
