Don't you have a donor Version R you can take it from?

The Lancer came out in 1996 with that air con fascia.
FTO in 1994 but I am not sure when the Version R came out

Yeah, it wasn't designed for the FTO. Just like 75% of the car

That's interesting. So what else did FTO designers re-use? I know the entire floor pan is same as early evos.

Lancer. The FTO preceded the CE Lancer and came at the end of the CC, which is seemingly why the engine is the same orientation as the CE, but Evo I-III rear dog-bone arms and LCAs fit (not sure if this is the same case for CE Lancers/Mirage though). But the rear floorpan is obviously different to the Evos cause AWD.

Post by DODO`` »

So I have been making following progress..

-tie rod ends, CV joint, both front wheel bearing changed
-steering rack replaced
-ordered new "the bit"
-speedo customised
-wired/mounted mic to the head unit
-steering wheel cover
-installed concaved side mirror
-installed dash cam & reverse cam
-and gave it a clay bar wash and wax

here are some photos..

Busy busy!

If I had to be nit-picky I'd quietly point out that you've accidentally replaced the RPM gauge with a GR/GX spec one because the redline is only 7.5k and not 8 like the GPX/GPvR.

Did you get a dual channel system?
There a few nanocam plus products in Supercheap, so I wasn't sure which one.

The pics you posted did not have the monitor shown either. Did you get the rearview mirror clipon type?

I've got the one that has 2 cameras. Front camera shoots 1080p and 720p for rear. the screen is hidden inside the clip on rear view mirror. It is primarily designed to be dash cam so it records both camera continuously. But I have the rear camera positioned so I can use it as reverse cam. Its got a built in battery and it records for 60sec if it detects movement while the cars parked.
