A few weeks late but I'll chime in here:

I'm the Silver 1999 with a grey-primer bonnet that's rolling around Northside ACT these days.

To put names to faces (where possible), the FTOs I've seen around the ACT are:

Silver, driven by (I think) an asian woman, usually along Hindmarsh in the mornings.
White, driven by a dude, recently stopped at the same lights at the corner of Belconnen Way and Eastern Valley Way, again in the morning.
    Red, parked near ANU campus.
White, parked in the KFC carpark across from Woden.

Give us a shout if that's you. :D

I drive a silver 1994 GPX (Poor Condition) around the Gungahlin area. Apart from work I don't do a lot of driving these days...

I have sold my FTO to Dwayne so I am FTOless :(

sorry for the late reply lawso. I didn't see the post till after i got back to canberra.

It was at kings park (around blacktown i think)

decided against the buy it had a fair few things wrong with it (see Daniel2019's last post for details http://ftoaustralia.com/v3/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=29681)

and just for anyone who stumbles across this looking for a fto to buy here is the ad for one not to buy unless you are knowledgeable about fixing them (http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/smithfie ... 1056381936)
