FTO Bonfire / BBQ is on again

anyone fancy driving up for the bonfire / bbq again. I have been for the last 2 years and its a great event.

How long is the total journey anyway

its about 760 kms each way. we usually go up via the caost road (via Lakes Entrance & Bega) and drive back on the Hume.
10 hours driving each way.

Mate I'll see what I can do. I really CBF doing the drive again so I might get someone to pick me up from Canberra airport. :D

hey if you're coming from melb we can all take the drive. i'm on my p's which is why i have an fto lol so i as long as you're over 21 or w/e i can drive a full car. not that you'd want to sit in the bacl of an fto anyway :P

I know another club member in Traralgon who migh be interested. Ill put it to him and see what comes back.
Mate I'll see what I can do. I really CBF doing the drive again so I might get someone to pick me up from Canberra airport.
I think we can probably sort this out for you. There are a few members in Canberra I think I can conn if I cant do it myself. If you can manage to do the thursday afternoon, ill be working down there and should be able to pick you up one the way out of town. Ill be going back down first thing Monday.

    Ok tentatively hands up on this one. Depending on my when my fren's wedding is. I'll confirm it prolly in 2 weeks time. Anyway any essential items to bring??

    10hrs drive for 760kms?? Tat makes it roughly 76km/h...i'm sure we can do better than that

    I will most likely join the VIC convoy, leaving Adelaide on thurs and rest then going up with everyone else on the Friday :D

    I can do better but I get slowed down with the FTO's, cus there's lots of corners between Melbourne and Batemans.
