Two options I can think of are:

Bowling in Moorabbin and eating at Dom's Bistro

http://www.domsbistro.com/

Bowling in Clayton and eating at La Casetta

http://maps.google.com.au/maps/place?hl ... 1087344913

I am open to suggestions for other locations around Melbourne (preferably cheap :P)

What day/time would suit people? Two games will take about 2 hours, plus dinner ~3 hours so it might be better for a weekend.

I'm not too fussed but my preference would be not on a school night so we don't have to worry about work the next day. Long drive home from Moorabbin for me. :alien:

What about:

Bowling in Mentone:

Dinner at Michelangelos:
http://www.michelangelos.com.au/aspendale-gardens.html

But either way I'm not fussed

Closer you get to the city the less parking you'll have. I'm sure those in the other suburbs can spare an extra ~20 minutes drive :)

Saturday 14th May at 4PM

Bowling at Moorabbin AMF: http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&hl=e ... in&ie=UTF8

If you are coming from the city you will need to do a U turn just after AMF and pull into the service road.

Then dinner at Dom's Bistro.

Any objections?
