Brisbane Meetup - 19th of June

Date set at 19th of June.

Just to sort out details of time and destination. Are people wanting to stop and eat together at lunch, or just go for an afternoon run?

i reakon mt nebo and stop for lunch somewhere i think there might be a bbqs at the top somewhere from memory if we cant find a cafe to eat at

which end do we want to start at do we want to finish at samford because we can either go up waterworks rd then come back down samford rd to samford or start at samford and come back down water works rd

i dont know of a good place to meet on water works rd though so i think samford is probs the best place to meet they have a bakery and stuff there and petrol station for anyone to fuel up before they go

Enter from the gap via waterworks road. There is a lookout up top with a bbq.

the funny thing is it seems like it will be just us 3 that will be doing the cruise or we are the most interested at least lol.

probably the petrol station on waterworks rd will be the best place to meet up and go from their.

so we are starting at the water works rd end at the petrol station which petrol station buy the way and is there enough space for us all to park and wait
and what do we want to about the bbq
like are we all buying our food or like a group buy thing and we all chip $5 or $10 or something

I don't know the area as well so I'll leave the details of meeting points up to you guys. If there are BBQ's up top, then a couple of snags + bread would be good. One person buys and others chip in a few dollars. Does anyone know if they are electric or wood fired BBQ's?

am happy to cheap in for the BBQ if we are still doing that plan. their is woolworths on waterworks rd that has heaps of parking and we can get supplies. no idea if those BBq things are electric or require wood and fire. i would assume electric cause i havent seen any bbq things that requires wood and fire to start it up around brisbane

At the moment we're meeting up around lunch time on the northside, driving up the mountain and stopping for a bbq lunch on the top.

Other details to be decided yet as we bring it all together (such as meeting points and exact times etc).

Edit:
I did further chasing up and found that only one spot has electric BBQ's.
