It took me some hell lot of patience, and mrs' thinner hands to put those 4 bolts connecting the subframe and the front bar. Its a pain when you can't lift your car to get underneath.

Did Taiwo get his folding mirrors fixed?

That's the awesomeness...isn't it? :P I have held a full open motorbike license for the last 13 years...and never bothered to learn how to drive a car till December last year....was simply never interested in cars. Only QLD has the stupid laws of having a full/P car license before applying for a motorbike...not with Victoria :)

So...I know sh*t about cars..don't even know how to use a jack  .I did learn some stuff by reading DIY guides here though. But I can tune/re-jet your motorbike carbs etc in no time :P Also, having a nice slope on the drive way doesn't help in using jacks I've heard.

but im just gonna take it to yamaha and let them do it, i dont know how to fix what needs to be fixed, and i dont have the time or knowledge (yet) also dont feel like experimenting first on my R1, not smart lol, not when i ride to the limit,

next time ill be the one that crashes it most likely haha

and yeah it is pretty awesome, but shall be evan more awesome when shes finished lol

if it's crashed, you have the perfect excuse to convert it into a street fighter :) I had a '96 ZX6R which I used around the tracks in Melb. Eventually removed all the fairings and converted it into a nice street fighter. Lesser weight = easier wheelies :P

Yamaha will charge a sh*t load of money for the original fairings. You will get the aftermarket ones way cheaper.

Now, getting old, so no more track days...no more wheelies...just long distance touring :(

i was going to get all parts just need the labour done cause im kinda lost, plus i need to make sure the chassis is okay

If you can drive down to GC, I can have a look at them for you.
