BBQ + meetup

Post by Taz »

So with a few ppl keen on meeting up around this time and people completely disregarding me in the other thread i thought i might as well see if ppl are still keen.
Garth will be fit to come down to brissy soon and will probably have a nice BBQ or something - if anyone else is keen and wants to come please put your name down and what times/days you are good with in the next few weeks, and we can try and sort something out

Hmm thinking a saturday morning then possibly the afternoon, or even a sunday afternoon?
How does 16-17 or 23-24 grab everyone?
Can either hold it at mine in Wynnum or choose a park close by?

Sunday afternoon is best for most people. I can do some weekdays too.

I work weekends so I wont be able to commit however if you guys set a date I might be able to swing it. Wynnum works for me. The mother in law lives up that way so I can drop the missus off and come say hello.

Am free on either of those weekends.

How are we organizing the food? I can bring a pack of sausages. Someone needs to grab onions, bread, margarine and cooking stuff (oil, mustard sauce, utensils).

Best we distribute this list among the attendees.

Food is the least of the worries haha need to worry about attendees first

Ill start a list - seems as though sunday arvo will be the best time to do it. I finish work and am free around 2-230PM, should we shoot for a 3PM afternoon meet up?
Il start the list of whos keen anyway - put your name and if your free on the 17th or the 24th

Just posting in that would like to attend but won't be able to most likely. I might be able to make the first weekend, but won't be in town for the second weekend.

Also as a thought - how many of you need to do sh*t to your car? If enough ppl are up this way at the time can turn it into a mini DIY day or something?

I've got everything sorted thanks to Sahin. Most probably I'll come on my bike.

Waiting for winter to set in to get some paint work started.

I start work at 3 on sundays but once you guys pick a date I'll see if i can swap. Sun rates are usually pretty easy to give away.
