okamitengu's super rockin come do some sh*t to my mivec

Post by okamitengu »

hello fellow south aussiers

i have ordered my timing belt kit. it arrives soon. its time to organise a day.

im going to install that and a waterpump to a mivec engine i have, im also going to mount the mivec on an engine stand.

i would really like it if TIM can spare a day to come over and make sure i dont put it on upside down (: and to that end im putting out feelers.
think we shoudl turn it into a DIY or just a come say hi.

we need a day, sat or sunday between now and march
i'll put out an esky full of .. something... beer? coke? japanese ricewine?

the plan is basically get together, shoot sh*t, and not destroy my new mivec!

who is in?

and when is in?

i dont know, i dont want to roll the engine around on the concrete in case i damage the sump. i'll try to have a little looksie tonight after work.

i need to get it onto the engine stand pretty soon. do you have any transmission bolts i can use to attach the engine to the stand?

anyone in adelaide? i really dont want to go to a wrecker and buy 4 bolts for a once off.. especially considering i have been way too lazy to do that thus far!

heh
