SA Crew Cruise & Photoshoot

Post by ObsidianRadio »

Hi all,

I think it's time we all met up again, now that all our cars are now roadworthy (for now )

I propose a spirited cruise somewhere lovely, and a photoshoot of all of our cars together, seeing as its been a while since our last shoot... I've recently taken ownership of a bloody nice camera, and I'd love to try it out on the cars! Can edit pics etc to your desire if you want special pics of your car free of charge :)

Let's all post up our availability and see what we can come up with, along with any suggestions for cruise locations and/or activities!
Jack

Weekdays are post-midnight affairs for me. But soon enough my work roster will be changing and I'll have every saturday free.

One of the mazda guys on AstinaGT introduced me to Montacute road that runs up to Ashton. Nice and windy and damn smooth. Up to Lobethal via I forget what road, but starts with norton summit is quite a bit bumpier in comparison, but longer and a lot of fun to drive.

I know the exact roads you speak of mate, was driving them just last night actually, and wanted to incorporate them. VERY smooth road, a lot better than Gorge! Heads towards Mt Torrens and Cherryville, I'll try work out a route.

Gorge is alright. The broader bit along the cliffs is better surfaced though not as exciting.

Either way, I think we've established at least one of the roads we'll be cruising!

I think we should drive somewhere public as well, don't think a lot of us realize just how cool it looks to see a heap of FTOs driving together! Most people don't even know what the hell they are

However, Hindley street is not my cup of tea, don't feel like having my car kicked, spewed on and yelled at by drug addicts. Perhaps an evening cruise through the CBD or the esplanade along the beachfront?

I haven't had any trouble on Hindley so far, I roll down there sometimes after work.

Hoping I can make this one.
A Saturday is good for me, not on the weekend of 29/30 June though.
A bit of a late start would suit to, 12pm ish, so I can drive down to you guys.

He's free in the afternoons anyway, works perfectly. How about The Queen's Birthday long weekend 8-9 June, on Saturday the 8th?
