Any mechanical work needed? (all cars)

Post by vipfto »

OK so now have little one and only one income have decided to do more mechanical work from home. (yes I am qualified)

All cars welcome just unable to do exhausts as no pipe bender (unless bolt on) and late model vehicles for electrical diagnostics as no very expensive scan tool

So going rate will be cheap $35 p/h for non FTO members or can arrange preset prices depending on work required + parts owner can source if they wish (Preferable) CASH ONLY  If unable to do any specific job due to no equipment or specialized expensive tools I will not do the job but happy to refer to people that can

Of course for members and friends we will have other arrangments as usual

Happy to do all work from oil changes to timing belts, clutches, head gaskets, brakes, suspension/steering etc and even some performance modification and aftermarket electrical installs (stereos, lights, alarms, ecus etc but unable to tune without dyno) and minor welding jobs (not my strongest point as of yet)

Will be able to work after 6pm most days and all Sundays. If this takes off may consider opening workshop.

So if you know of any family/friends that need some work done let me know via pm here or on my mobile 0414856606

AND NO BODY WORK not my area so please dont ask ;)

That's awesome Tim!

If you are actually in need of the extra work for $$$, I can refer some friends to you... I'll be needing to book you for my brake installation and a service soon if that's cool, will contact you for a quote when I'm ready :)

A 10,000km service? Assuming that's what; oil and coolant haha

I had a suspicion much didn't require doing for it, haha. I'm sure I can think of something, the suspension bushings or whatever they are perhaps.

How many are there? I've no idea when they were last done, but given the car's nearing 200,000kms, wouldn't surprise me if they're worn out.
