Meet with PHIL069 Friday

Post by PHIL069 »

I will be flying back into Adelaide 2:40pm Friday.
I have a booking at Bob Jane @ 4pm to get a couple of tyres fitted and an alignment.
I will also find myself a Bunnings to buy some ally or stainless to make a pod air box with.
If any of you are free on Friday late afternoon/night and would like to meet up let me know.
This is all dependant on whether Sue is doing OK, which I reckon she will be doing well enough for me to be home a few hours later.

I phoned Tim @ his Bob Jane and I am now booked in with him for Friday afternoon, 4pm.
He told me that the Yokahama I was going to get are crap, so I am going with Tims suggestion of Bridgestone RE002 Adrenalin.
I can then also go to Bunnings over the road.
I will be @ Tims pretty close to knock off time, so we can organise a meet around that. Up to you guys to make suggestions.

Thanks heaps for all your feedback SA, it was very helpful. :D

@ Kiz, idunno where you live....but if you want you could meet me near the airport and we could cruise together up to Modbury. My flight is due in to Adelaide @ 2:40pm (if it's on time).

Phil, go Michelin pilot sport 3, you will love them, trust me. I've seen how you drive around corners. I would say you won't have to worry about grip around the hair pins on your way to Dwayne's on a rainy day with those tyres on. :P

I had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 on my stock wheels...loved them....new wheels have Bridgestone Potenza all around...meh, hate it!...Can't wait to get back to Michelin Sports again.

I live in the eastern suburbs and work up near Modbury (conveniently located not more than 1km away from Tim, funny that I also live not more than 1km away from Tim ).

But I've got the day off so i'll meet you at the airport, not a bad drive out that way from where I live.

And i'm running Potenza Adrenelin RE002's at the moment and I love them :?

Tim said you were using the RE002.
What would Sidwarrior know about tyres anyway, he only drives at 50km/h

Cool that you can meet me near the airport :D I finally get to meet up with some of you :P
I would say about 3pm should be safe, I will need time to have a few ciga's after the flight anyway.

I guess if we're all meeting at Tim's work I might as well get a rotation done if you're not busy haha
